Several of SUFCo’s projects have been featured in local and national publications, and a corporate farm is the type of project likely to attract significant media attention. The farm can be managed as a showcase, offering tours to demonstrate gardening techniques and the benefits of organic food production.

• EMPLOYEE WELLNESS:

The farm will demonstrate your business’ commitment to employee wellness by providing great tasting, fresh, organic produce for employee restaurants and cafeterias. The farm can also provide educational and recreational activities for employees.

• ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP:

The farm, as a source of locally-produced, pesticide-free food, will help your business reduce carbon emissions and protect water from contamination. This type of innovation may be recognized with higher Green Restaurant ratings for on-site cafeterias and may earn points towards LEED certification. The farm itself will be eligible for certification as an organic farm after three years of operation.
